If Quickstart is not available, we will provide a technician to carry out the installation, and there will be no charge for this. If QuickStart is available to you but you decide that you would prefer a technician to install our equipment, you will normally need to pay a technician installation fee. Someone over the age of 18 will need to be present at a time that we will agree with you in advance. If you move home to another address we cannot guarantee to be able to provide you with our services at your new address.
If we are able to provide the services to your new address, you will normally have to pay a service transfer fee. The charge is to cover the costs incurred by us when arranging the transfer and set up of your services at your new address. Most of our customers receive their bills via E-billing. If you choose to receive a paper version of your bill, you will normally be charged a paper bill fee. To be able to receive an E-bill, you need to provide us with a valid e-mail address.
Unless you pay by Direct Debit you may be charged a payment handling fee. Payment can also be made by cash, cheque, credit and debit card, but may be subject to this fee. If your payments are not received by Virgin Media by the due date shown on your bill, you will normally be charged a late payment fee. This charge is to cover the costs incurred by us in chasing and collecting late payments and providing services during this time.

Installing our services using QuickStart is only possible at addresses that have had Virgin Media services in the past. To save you time, simply use our postcode checker so we can let you know if you can self-install our services before you place your order. Another thing to consider is the condition and location of your internal wall socket.
The wall socket should be undamaged, securely fixed and have the silver connectors visible. Your TV or Hub can be up to 3 metres away from your wall socket. Position of your sockets and equipment Your TV or Hub can be up to 3 metres away from your wall socket. Within two working days of your order we'll send you details of contract and services either by email or by post to check and sign. When we send your QuickStart pack using Click and Collect you'll recieve a text message and email to the contact details you gave us when your QuickStart pack is ready to pick up from your chosen CollectPlus location. If you've chosen to have your QuickStart pack delivered via Yodel instead, Yodel will send you a message on your delivery day to let you know of a 2 hour estimated delivery slot for your pack.
This confirmation message will include a tracking code so you can see where your order is. Just visit, yodel. When your QuickStart pack has arrived at your chosen CollectPlus location, you'll recieve a text message and email with confirmation of the delivery, and a collection code and barcode.
To collect your QuickStart pack, you'll need to take the collection code and barcode to the CollectPlus location, along with proof of your identity. CollectPlus will accept the following forms of ID:. The CollectPlus location will scan or enter the collection code and check your ID, and then give you your QuickStart pack.
If you're unable to go to the CollectPlus location yourself, you can give the collection code to someone else. They'll need to be over 18 and take your ID with them when they collect your QuickStart pack. Once you've collected your pack from the CollectPlus location, or if you've had your QuickStart pack delivered instead, you should set up your services straight away. The Signal should be activated automatically on the same day when box is dispatched.
