Windows vista enable wireless adapter

I plugged my old BElkins wireless usb adapter in and it would detect the wireless network i have and run the internet smoothly now about 2 months later its suddenly stoppped working at first i thought its the usb adapter so i got a new one but it recgnises the adaptor is plugged just would connect to the network.

Hi Sorry for the late reply been busy with work There are no errors shown on the Network Adapter in device manager it actually shows my wireless adapter belkins within it all working fine. What im doing is clicking on "connect to network" and it says "windows cannot find any networks" so i click on "diagnose why windows cant find any networks" It runs 'Identyfying program' for a bit and then gets back to me with a message saying "windows wireless is not running on this computer" so i click on the option which says "Start windows wireless service" and then it says "windows cannot resolve the problem" "Please contact your network administrator or Internet Service Provider" Does this help?
