Some malicious software knows that if you have an issue with your system, the first place most people look for some help is to go to Google to get assistance and help to get rid of it. The malicious software does not want you to remove it - it would be happiest if it makes you think that you need to use a Restore Point, a Repair Install or just reinstall your XP from scratch.

Therefore, the malicious software will block your efforts to get to Google and other sites where you might find help. It sounds like you have tried a lot of things that are not working so I would make an effort to be sure your system is not infected, and then fix the problem.

After the scans run clean, then it should not be too hard to figure out why you can't get to Google. Perform some scans for malicious software, then fix any remaining issues:.
