Uninstaller roxio cin player
I did try to uninstall it using Windows uninstaller and even after I removed it from my PC, the message. Try right click the. Right click on the CPDP. And since before installing Roxio, I did a backup of my Windows so the question is if I restore my backup image then re-install Roxio, is there a custom install so that I can skip installing Cineplayer????
With this thread sitting idle for a week now. I finally found a way to uninstall Cineplayer completely out of my system. I used Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Cineplayer and even that there are still registry entries stuck in the registry related to Cineplayer plus quite a few dll files in system32 folder thanks Roxio, you guys should have come up with a better uninstaller package instead of trying to tell your customers to unzip this, run.
In addition, The problem I found with Cineplayer is if I tried to play a video file e. If Cineplayer could not figure out what codec to use, it will pop up those messages above so I installed a codec pack Win7Codec from shark then use Windows Media Player to play the video file, this time I get no more popup.
Spending a lot of time going thru posts, I also found that this problem does exist in the past, here are some of the links for the related problem:. Would you mind telling the steps you took to get rid of cineplayer using revo uninstaller?
I have revo as well but not smart as you to figure it out yet. With the above steps, you should be OK but there're still entries related to Cineplayer in the system Registry. Once you run regedit. So, I won't delete anything until I know it is safe.
I think everyone used it to fix there software and MS didn't like it! Read and follow the instructions, the program makes registry changes so a backup image before use would be wise. You will have to explain what you are doing here: "So, I went to Start and typed Roxio and what came up was a listing for Roxio that has ove 32, files".
Right-clicking on a file does nothing but bring up a context menu. There is no way that it will cause you to have to restore your computer. Then please explain what he means by "So, I went to Start and typed Roxio and what came up was a listing for Roxio that has ove 32, files". When I clicked on a video file flv to play the video, I would get a window showing Cineplayer was trying to install and that CP monitor needed to be closed to continue.
Then another window for another file. Each time, I would click "cancel", then the video player would open and start playing the video.
Curious as to why Cineplayer a Roxio product would try to install after I had uninstalled Creator using Revo and advanced scan and delete all leftover files and folders, I went to Start and in the Search box I typed Roxio. A listing came up showing more than files with the first 20 or so showing Roxio highlighted in yellow. Don't know why those files are still in my computer. The rest of the files are like I mentioned in my post. As for my computer getting screwed-up, I was referring to the time last month that searched Roxio andover files came up.
I right clicked on some of the entries and Properties to see what files they were. Satisfied that I didn't need them because I had uninstalled , I elected to delete them. Big Mistake!!! I did a restart and nothing worked and I lost internet access. I had to call my ISP Tech Spt and they guided me through the process of reentering the the necessary info to reestablish internet access.
They said when I deleted a bunch of files, that wiped-out internet files and info. All I'm trying to find out is why Roxio files are still in my computer and why thousands have nothing to do with Roxio. Hi again cdanteek. Hope you doing well. Thanks for your response. I hoped I had made my post somewhat understandable but wasn't really sure. All along, I've been trying to find out what the bad certificate was.
Look at the atch and tell me what you think, please. It's in the upper left corner. I hope it comes up. Did you ever do the clean uninstall of Roxio? If so, you would have had to edit your registry to get rid of some of those 23, registry entries. Did you do that? Here are the instructions - pay special attention to setps 3 and above. If you had not chickened out when you were using Revo Uninstaller, you would not have this problem now.
As before, if you are not going to listen to suggestions and follow directions, why bother to ask? Wouldn't this topic have been a lot simpler if Cdanteek had been left to help Boongsong without a guru cluster?
It is not a guru cluster. See our previous attempts at helping him. For instance this is just one. I just considered this an extension of that those topics. I would also like to mention that boomsong has p,. Hello skinis. For your information I have not ignored or disregarded anything you have suggested. I have always taken your advice, used the links that have been provided by you and the other gurus.
I am very appreciative of all the efforts that have been expended by every one of you. Unfortunately, those suggestions have not proven fruitful. For your own edification, I did use the link to Softpedia. Sign up for a new account in our community. It's easy! Already have an account? Sign in here. Sign in to follow this Followers 0.
